We held regular Monday evening practice nights until the 2020 Covid lock-down. We are currently without a Tower Captain so return to service ringing will depend on finding a replacment willing to navigate whatever guidance is deemed necessary for ringing safely post Covid.
Check out our twitter feed for any future announcements about this
There is an email link for the tower on the towers page of the Old North Berks branch web page but this is not guaranteed to get a reply until a new Tower Captain can be found. Until then enquiries about the status of ringing at Marcham should be directed to the apropriate person listed under the "Contact Us" page on the church community website of All Saints and St Lukes web site as above.
Marcham has a peal of 6 bells hung a little unusually in an anti-clockwise sequence. The bells were originally mounted in a wooden frame that dated from mediaeval times. In 1988 they were re-hung in a metal frame and refurbished.

A note received from Whites on the 1988 refurbishment states: Five of the bells have had their cast-in wrought iron clapper staples and their canons removed and the 3rd bell has been recast. They have been re-hung complete with new ringing fittings in a new cast-iron and steel bell frame. The bells have been harmonically tuned in the key of G (Old standard pitch).
Here is a one page PDF file to download with more complete details about the bells
